'cataidana'

A portmanteau of 'cat' and the japanese word for 'lazy'. This was around the time I adopted a cat as my fursona, mostly for irl laziness, so I thought it was a befitting name.

I'd planned on using it as an alias for more "experimental" music, which I consider this to be, at least by my usual standards. I attempted J-Dilla style "drunk" beats. Wasn't quite on the mark but I still think they sound interesting.

This first track was inspired by my own weird sleeping issues. Around the time I was sleeping but never getting any actual rest, to the point I was collapsing at my work desk. I never discovered why, as now my issue is lengthy, detailed dreams that always leave me feeling groggy, regardless of whether they're pleasant or not. Crazy!
